Loved it. I gave it to my 15 month old grand daughter and her Dad loves the toy as much as she does. She isn't able to turn it on yet but she still enjoys playing with the gears and motion of the gears when someone turns it on for her. She has dropped the separate pieces on the floor several times, but it is sturdy and still works.
Our little neighbor boy just loves this toy. He is only 22 months so it takes a beating but keeps on going. Sometimes his 4 year old sister gets caught up arranging the wheels for about 30 minutes too.
One of the items (the main gear) arrived not working. Like others,, I wish more gears came with them but I did order 2. This certainly is a motivator for them.
So, with that in mind, I kept all the gears. Worth every dime. While Amazon would have shipped it back for free, I have very little time to get to the post office, let alone re-package.
and has HELPED tremendously, with sacral sitting issues and core muscle issues. My sons use them on this Step 2 easel on the magnetic side. Early Intervention recommended due to my sons' muscle tone issues that they reach up.
Fun to play with. and though the 2nd big battery operated gear came broken, at least I have a bunch of gears for them.
They also like watching the gears rotate when the motor is running. My twin 14-month-old girls love taking the large non-motor gears off the refrigerator. These gears are very durable as they have hit the tile floor many times. They imitate the gears spinning when the motor isn't connected. This toy really grows with your kids.
Our two year old grandson enjoyed playing with these on the refrigerator. I have to make sure Grampa stays away from them. ha,ha.
